Curriculum Online and eLearning Credits (eLCs) |

The Curriculum Online initiative includes the provision of funding to all schools in England and Wales for the purchase of digital learning materials up to GCSE level. £100 million has been allocated for each of the academic years between 2003 and 2006. Your school’s eLC money has been set aside by the DfES for the purchase of multimedia resources aligned with the curriculum of subjects taught in schools in England and Wales. There is a new, improved site at www.curriculumonline.gov.uk which enables easier searching. Whiteboard initiatives in schools £25 million has been allocated through LEAs for the purchase of interactive whiteboards in secondary schools . There are also support networks in place to help schools use whiteboards effectively and provide guidance on purchasing.
